December 6, 2011

The demolition of Babri Mosque on 6 December 1992 has remained a bloat on the face of Indian secular history….It is a poignant reminder of the fact that how mass hysteria can lead to such madness. Religion has to be given a due space in an individual’s life but it should not lead to a situation where human beings turn into monsters.. Why this fight for supremacy amongst different religions. Whether religion has been a uniting force or a dividing force; i think later has more often been proved to be right.

This is one poem written by Kaifi Azmi post Babri mosque demolition on 6 December….

I don’t think it was even mass hysteria or even religion (thought religion does seem to do a lot of harm sometimes), I think it was a politically motivated act of violence.

Offcourse it was politically motivated act of violence. But you will agree that political motivation was only behind the orchestrators of the act but the people who followed were naive and simply got motivated by religious bigotry….

Yes I do agree. And also there must be a lot of criminal elements, who got the opportunity to kill and to plunder.
